You will practice the skills of ultrasound diagnostics on real patients with various clinical pathologies using modern ultrasound machines under the guidance of an experienced teacher.

Basic principles of ultrasound examination of the shoulder joint

14:00 – 17:30 Ultrasound capabilities in the diagnosis of tendinitis/tendinosis, calcific tendinitis, rotator cuff tendon ruptures; Ultrasound diagnosis of diseases of the tendon of the long head of the biceps brachii muscle. Ultrasound capabilities for impingent syndrome. Traumatic injuries of the shoulder joint and acromioclavicular joint. Volumetric formations in the area of the shoulder joint and acromioclavicular joint.

9:00 – 13:00 Anatomy and biomechanics of the elbow joint, demonstration of the elbow joint ultrasound technique. Basic principles of ultrasound examination of the elbow joint

14:00 – 17:00 Ultrasound diagnosis of arthrosis and arthritis, primary synovial chondromatosis of the elbow joint. Diseases of the distal biceps tendon, lateral and medial epicondylitis; damage to the ligamentous apparatus of the elbow joint. Impingement syndrome of the elbow joint. Ultrasound diagnostics of volumetric formations in the elbow joint
17:00 – 17:30 Discussion of the execution of the ultrasound protocol of the elbow joint

DAY 4

9:00 – 13:00 Examination of patients with diseases of the shoulder and elbow joints, preparation of an ultrasound protocol
13:00 – 14:00 Lunch break. Summing up the results of the training
