Two-day master class on laparoscopic surgery of the liver (formal and sparing resections) and pancreas (proximal and distal resections) for cancer from leading European specialists in these fields. Prof. Bjørn Edwin (Norway) and Prof. I.E. Khatkov (Russia). Format of the event – lectures with a video demonstration of surgeries, broadcasts from the operating room, practicing skills on simulators and in the veterinary operating room. The course is officially supported by the European (EAES) and the Russian (ROEH) Society of Endoscopic Surgeons. There is accreditation from the ROC continuing medical education system.
Attendees will receive the most up-to-date first-hand information on laparoscopic liver and pancreatic surgery.
Data from recent comparative randomized trials substantiating the oncologic efficacy of laparoscopic hepatopancreatobiliary surgery will be presented.
Participants of the master class will be able to watch and master the techniques and tricks of laparoscopic dissection of the liver and pancreas in the clinical and veterinary operating room.
At the end of the course, students will receive an EAES, ROEH certificate and ROEH educational points.
