Course Description

The course program is designed to fully cover osteosynthesis of the upper and lower extremities in children over three days. The series will be held in a discussion format: cases, answers to questions, analysis of clinical cases, lectures and practice. This is a unique and comprehensive course in which 70% of the curriculum will be devoted to practical exercises on cadaveric material.

The cycle has six theoretical and practical modules:

Formation of a systematic approach to childhood trauma. General principles;
Upper extremity – clavicle, humerus;
Treatment of metaphyseal and epiphyseal fractures of the elbow joint area;
Fractures of the forearm;
Lower extremity injuries: femur and tibia;
Soft tissue management and complications.

For the most effective process of training, we recruit groups of no more than 16 people (3-4 people per cadaveric stand)
